The Racine area which includes the communities of Racine, Caledonia,
Mount Pleasant, Sturtevant, Wind Point, North Bay, Elmwood Park,
Franksville and extreme eastern Raymond and Yorkville has over 80 parks.
These parks range from small community parks about 0.08 acre to large campgrounds and
bicycle trails up to 378 acres in size. Below is a list of Racine area parks and their addresses -
Note parks do not always have addresses so the closest address is listed
for use in computer mapping programs.
Lockwood Park (Graceland Park)
4500 Graceland Boulevard
This park has much to offer, Baseball diamonds, soccer/football
fields, basketball courts, children's play equipment, community center and
a great big hill which is perfect for winter sledding.

M-R-K Off Road Bicycle Trail
1542 Layard Avenue (Start Point)
This 5-mile trail begins at Layard Avenue, just west of Douglas Avenue in
Racine and continues north to Seven Mile Road. Through a trail connection,
you may want to visit Cliffside Park along the route. Licensed Dogs
allowed on 6 foot leash - Owner is responsible for waste removal.

Samuel Meyers Beach
6 - 11th Street
On Lake Michigan, this park offers spectacular views of both the lake and
shoreline as well as a protected (behind the break wall) beach for
swimmers, public boat launch and off shore fishing along the break walls.
Fourth of July Fireworks are visible.

North Beach
1501 Michigan Boulevard
An expansive beach offers swimmers a cool dip in Lake Michigan on a hot
summer's day. This large park also offers children's play equipment,
concessions, lavatories, changing rooms, and picnic tables. Offers a great
view of the Fourth of July Fireworks.
North Shore Off Road Bicycle Trail
3103 Durand Avenue (Start Point)
The biking linkage between Racine and Kenosha begins at 19th Street and
West Boulevard in Racine and goes south to Highway KR where it connects
with Kenosha County for an additional 4 miles. Licensed Dogs allowed on 6
foot leash - Owner is responsible for waste removal. This trail connects with the Racine-Sturtevant Bicycle Trail and the Root River Pathway at Oak Park
Oak Park
1700 West Boulevard
Featuring Childrens Play Equipment and plenty of room for field sports, this tark connects to the Racine-Sturtevant Bicycle Trail, North Shore Bicycle Trail and is part of the Root River Pathway.
