The Racine area which includes the communities of Racine, Caledonia,
Mount Pleasant, Sturtevant, Wind Point, North Bay, Elmwood Park,
Franksville and extreme eastern Raymond and Yorkville has over 80 parks.
These parks range from small community parks about 0.08 acre to large campgrounds and
bicycle trails up to 378 acres in size. Below is a list of Racine area parks and their addresses -
Note parks do not always have addresses so the closest address is listed
for use in computer mapping programs.

Brose Park

This nice park is a peninsula along the south bank of the Root River between Island Park and
Lincoln Park and offers picnic tables, rain shelter and bank shore
fishing. This park is part of the Root River Pathway.

Builders Park

A neighborhood park featuring children's play equipment.

Caledonia - Mt. Pleasant Memorial (Franksville) Park
9700 Northwestern Avenue - Franksville
Home of Franksville's Kraut Festival, this large park has much to
offer including picnic tables children's play equipment reservable picnic
shelters and hall. This park is also the home of Kid's Connection
children's play area.

Carlson Park

Carre - Hogle Park
1699 South Main Street
Down along the lake with fantastic views of Lake Michigan and the
harbor. This park offers a great place to get away from the city.
Fourth of July Fireworks are visible.

Case - Harmon Park
2800 Hamilton Avenue
Originally part of the Case family "Hickory Grove" farm in
the 1880's. This park was the home of Jay Eye See, J. I. Case's
championship trotter. His place in history was earned when he became the first horse to trot a 2:10 mile, achieving that feat in 1884.
Jay-Eye-See earned notoriety from more than just racing. He marketed cigars, plows and bits with his name on them, and was depicted in countless Currier & Ives lithographs. He had his own trading cards, and in his last summer he received a standing ovation at the Wisconsin State Fair.
Jay-Eye-See was inducted into the sport's national Hall of Fame as an Immortal in 1990,
and in 1997 was inducted into the Wisconsin Harness Racing Hall of Fame that brought him back to the minds of his brethren in Wisconsin.
This park features wide open spaces, children's play equipment, baseball
diamond and plenty of room for soccer or football.

One of the many city parks that follows the Root River offering bank shore
fishing. This park is part of the Root River Pathway.

Clayton Park

Another of the city's many parks along the Root River, this park is across
the river from Washington Park and has a canoe launch, bank shore fishing,
picnic tables and children's play equipment. This park is part of the Root River Pathway.

Cliffside Park

Located high above the shoreline of Lake Michigan, Cliffside Park offers
the widest variety of athletic facilities and recreational opportunities
of any park in Racine County. Cliffside Park contains one of the area's
finest public campgrounds.

This park has several different sections that are not all connected to one another and straddles the Root River. Wonderfully scenic area with great bank shore fishing. Bicycling, hiking and more. This park is part of the Root River Pathway.
Crawford Park

Near Four Mile Road, Behind Green Tree Center off of Chester Lane. This
Caledonia Town Park has 2 lighted baseball fields, 2 picnic shelters, trails
and 3 playgrounds.
