1851 - Thirty acres of land was purchased for Mound Cemetery, a city-owned cemetery which was named for the twelve Indian burial mounds within it. There are three revolutionary war soldiers buried here. |

This is a very cool spot to take photos in. Most Paranormal researches shun the use of digital cameras, and prefer 35mm, but I have had interesting results here with both.
Lot's of history here, lot's of energy. |

WOW ... I must say that is really interesting - I never knew that.
Isn't it amazing that although Racine is a semi-small city it's amazing how popular it is - it's really sad that people don't appreciate stuff like the above rather than always stating how bad Racine is.
Truly amazing how many famous people have came from Racine/Kenosha area as well. I did a search on IMDb.com for Racine/Kenosha and was shocked at the results. |
